What is assisted living?
Assisted Living is a combination of housing, personalized support services and healthcare designed to meet the needs of people requiring assistance with the activities of daily living.

How do I know when to explore assisted living options?
When you or a loved one begins experiencing difficulty performing the daily tasks of living, it is time to consider assisted living options. Such tasks may include preparing and eating balanced meals, dressing/grooming, maintaining proper hygiene, housekeeping, monitoring and administering medications. The purpose of assisted living is to support the individual to maintain as much independence as possible.

Do you have any available apartments?
We offer various sized apartments. Please call for current availability. If the size you desire is not currently available, we are pleased to place your name on our waiting list.

What is the cost of an apartment?
Prices range from $1335 to $2050.

What are the sizes of your apartments?

Studio	288 sq. ft.
Studio Plus	344 sq. ft.
Studio Plus Handicap	344 sq. ft.
Studio Plus Kitchenette	344 sq. ft.
1 Bedroom	477 sq. ft.
1 Bedroom Deluxe	688 sq. ft.

What does an apartment rental include?
Rental includes your apartment and utilities except for telephone and cable, access to all common areas, the main meal of the day (served at either 11:15 or 12:30 p.m.), weekly housekeeping and bed linen change.

Residents are invited to attend and participate in many social, spiritual, educational and health and wellness programs.

Are extra meals available and what do they cost?
Breakfast and supper meals are also available. Breakfast and supper are additional monthly charges of $120 and $180 respectively.

Do you have any apartments for independent living?
All of our apartments can be either independent or assisted living apartments.

How many levels of care do you provide in your Assisted Living Plans?
We provide three tiers of assisted living services.

What is the cost of those assisted living levels?
Costs range from $550 to $1250 per month. Costs are determined by our care giving professionals based on a comprehensive assessment process.

What is the process or procedure for moving in?
After touring our residence, you’ll be asked to complete an application form and a medical release. We then schedule an appointment for your assessment either here or at your current residence. In many cases, we can complete the application process in seven days.

Do you take Family Care?
Yes. We do provide services for the Family Care Program. Family Care openings vary so please call for availability.

Do you offer other religious services?
Yes. We offer daily Catholic Mass other non-denominational services as well as a wide variety of spiritual programming. Catholic Mass is celebrated at 4PM Monday through Saturday and at 10:15 AM Sunday mornings.

Do you accept pets?
No. We do not accept pets but we do have a pet therapy program offered at the Villa.

Is there a security deposit?
No. There is no security deposit or endowment feet. We rent apartments on a month-to-month basis. A 30 day written notification is required if you plan to vacate.

Are you connected to the nursing home next door (The Terrace at St. Francis?)
We are affiliated as the Felician Sisters who sponsor Villa St. Francis, co-sponsor The Terrace as well as Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare, with the Wheaton Franciscan Sisters.

Respite Retreats

What is Respite Care?
Respite by definition means “an interval of rest or relief”. We offer assisted living services on a short-term basis to those in need while their family or caregivers are on vacation or in need of a rest.

Do you offer Respite Care?
Yes. We have two apartments dedicated to Respite Care allowing families to make advance reservations. Our Respite Care Program offers three tiers of assisted living services.

What is the cost of your Respite Services?
Our respite services range from $135 to $175 per day for up to 28 days. Cost is determined based on services required.
